I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Sharon Santoni at "My French Country Home" for her beautiful write-up on my cushions and to all of you for your generous encouragement and kind words!
She's hosting a giveaway of two of my cushion slips which you can enter by visiting her blog and since about noon today, my facebook page & etsy shop have been lighting up. I couldn't be happier!
Now I'm not easily starstruck, for example when I was working in a French café in college I waited on The Edge (yeah, that one) and didn't bat an eye.
Yet when my phone rang this afternoon and the caller introduced herself as Sharon Santoni, I fell a little muet then fumbled for my words. Fortunately she is every bit as gracious as one would imagine and (thankfully) carried the conversation for the both of us! I hope I managed to convey my deepest gratitude nonetheless.
I sent off a few orders this afternoon and I'd like to share one in particular, a very special one for a yet to be born baby. His mom requested a piped edge and I love it so much that I think I may offer it as an option on all my slips. What do you think?
It boasts a creamy vintage linen front, handmade metis welting and a canvas envelope closure back.
I love how it pairs with this metis rêve or, dream, pillow. Wonderful for a nursery.
I hope his parents will love it as much as I do and share photos of the nursery! I wish them a healthy baby boy, and you a good night! Thanks for stopping by!
