An urban farm in the city limits of Neuchâtel, Primrose is designed after the garden's of Villandry, France. The style is potager medieval and it's walled garden gives it a wonderful microclimate. Garden beds designed in geometric shapes with paths running in between allow for proper crop rotation so they may be organic (pesticide and herbicide free.)
The chicken and rabbit runs fit on these beds and rotate with the crops making fresh new renovated soil on the farrow beds from the compost of the garden thus everything is reused and renewed.
It has a micro flock of Araucana & Maran chickens and meat rabbits (pets as well!)
It offers seasonable fruits & vegetables, jams & jellies, fruit cordials, tomato sauces, basil & coriander pesto, frozen pumpkin pureé, dried herbs, sour dough bread, fresh & frozen organic rabbit & fresh blue and dark copper organic chicken eggs.
Aren't they gorgeous? Wouldn't you love to crack one of these open Sunday morning?
Please contact urban farmer Jennifer Rohr directly with any questions or come meet her in person at the Marché, November 19th!
