Well, what can we say? It was a fantastic turnout for the Junior College in Neuchatel on Saturday. As soon as the doors opened at 10am the happy shoppers arrived, and there was a steady stream of people throughout the whole day, up until closing at 6pm.
The best outcome of the day was of course, that each and every purchase contributed towards the grand total of 435chf raised for Cecily's Fund! What a great success and we all hope that the fund benefits in some small way from our festive contribution.
To say that the Junior College in Neuchatel was the perfect setting for the marche is an understatement. The high ceilings, gilt mirrors, wood panelling and crystal chandeliers afforded the day a glamorous feeling of times gone by, and was commented on by all who came by. We therefore must offer our sincere thanks to William Boyer, the Head of School at Neuchatel Junior College & his concierge Elia, for making the day possible by providing this stunning venue and support. A lot of work went on behind the scenes prior to the marche. Lucy and Heather were organizing like busy bees from the word go, and we are truly grateful for all of their fantastic efforts.
We were so pleased with how our wares shone in such a lovely setting.......
And we couldn't have been in better company.........
Thanks again to all of you who made it out to support us, our fellow traders and most importantly, Cecily's Fund!
xx Jess & Vikki
